Golf and then a lot of rain…

…wet and windy.

  • Physio weights was good, but no PRs this time. Managed two mobility sessions at home, but was a struggle with no motivation to do more than these body weight sessions.
  • Binaural beats meditations are a must at the moment. Have not been feeling good, quite likely mainly because of world events.
  • One golf practice session which went ok. Working on rhythm and strike, which eventually got better.
    • Grip had slipped a bit and was no longer feeling comfortable.
    • Stiff from weights.
    • Watch club face position and don’t let hands slip too far forward in stance.
    • Putting is currently an issue, so home practice is lifting the club before taking a rhythmical stroke.
  • One competition - played very well given the difficult conditions and the fact I couldn’t putt (hence home practice focus)!
  • Trying to make time for piano exercises each day, because it’s taking a while for my fingers to dial in the movements again.
  • Prepped for accountant next week (but not handling the worry this always seems to cause me very well).
  • Cooked some really good meals, including: beef rendang with stir fry veggies and rice; roast chicken and vegetables with mushroom sauce; and other simpler things.
    • May be peaking too soon with the long weekend next week?

Sad to see the devastation of Exmouth in the winds and rain of cyclone Narelle, but also aware that the way news is reported these days feeds my general anxiety (not just Narelle of course, but also in relation to broader world events).
