Filling my days with new things courtesy of binaural beats meditation…
…which has just about kept me going in spite of continuing car issues, hayfever and difficult rounds of golf.

- Strong physio weights session to begin the week. One short home heavy weights session plus mobility training. One additional mobility session.
- Completed binaural beats meditation tiny experiment and judged it a success. I’ve found a number of tracks that work well for me:
- Meditation time passes quickly and is generally filled with positive feeling.
- Sometimes thoughts flow, either rethinking experiences in a more positive way or considering things I could do (some for enjoyment, some just to get them done).
- Often do one of the things immediately post meditation - ie leads into immediate action.
- Breathe better after meditation - relaxed jaw, chest, neck etc.
- Am maybe a little less hard on myself over the day as a result.
- => Continue for the rest of the month and reassess at that point.
- Golf practice was positive this week, but three competition rounds were less so (although definitely not all bad). Very hot and tired during and after the weekend afternoon round.
- Following up positive ideas from binaural meditation has resulted in:
- Converting two dresses into skirts - in progress (although one was far enough along to be worn already).
- playing piano again (just some quite fun exercises for now to improve finger dexterity and keyboard navigation)
- Meditation has also helped me deal with continuing car issues, since the fix the garage hoped would work did not. In the process of deciding whether to go ahead with more investigation or look for a new car. The car is fine to drive, just a bit noisy at higher speeds (rarely attained in my everyday use).
- Birds of the week: A huge flock of Carnaby’s cockatoos circling the golf course this weekend in the late afternoon. Looked like more than fifty birds. Love the calls these birds make in flight.
Need to revisit how to stay positive on the golf course!
