Actually went to a NYE party…

…and found it surprisingly easy to make it to midnight! It’s been a while.

  • Cover image: The path to the beach where I’m learning to wing on the SUP.
  • Went to wing-SUP three times with two successful sessions (and one where I didn’t go out because it felt like it’d get too windy).
  • Survived seeing the New Year in, but it made me very tired… zzzzzzzzzzzz.
  • Ate more prawns!
  • And a mini pavlova (made by a friend => much better meringue than the ones I bought).
  • Kept watering the plants.
  • Another new putting process practised on actual greens is finally helping.
  • Although the home putting practice didn’t seem to help much, it’s still likely that getting a rhythm for 10 minutes over 10 days was a good idea.
  • Played two rounds of golf. The first was ok (with a tough second nine). The second round saw me hold it together for 18 to win the competition.
  • Have begun the new bullet journal, although it’s a little fiddly. Maybe needs more white space?
  • Had a great chat with my golf coach (so need to write up plans for 2026 and share them with him soon).
  • Also need to write up other plans for 2026 (not resolutions, but rather ideas for Tiny Experiments in living).
