A week of up and then back down…
…mentally speaking at least.
- Cover image: Full moon and clouds.
- Back to physio - still pretty strong, probably lost a tiny bit during the three weeks off, but home weights are going well.
- New gym shoes were good - jumping so far it made me sore the rest of the week.
- Pulled out of some academic work I thought would be ok, but it turned out was not ok… at all.
- Tried, but did not wing-SUP, the wind came in too quickly again.
- Golf practice was fun this week, both days I spent around 2 hours on a range of things, moving around as seemed best.
- Two rounds of competition golf. Hit some good shots, but didn’t score well. Putting and chipping were issues on Wednesday. Friday was better, but still finding focus and shot choice difficult.
- Depressed again at the end of the week. Very irritable and frustrated with myself (not for good reasons), a feeling that carried into the weekend. Not sure why - a bit frustrated with golf (after the fact, still enjoying the process) and with a mobility training method I decided to try (and found difficult in spite of having spent the last nearly three years in the gym). But, the elephant in the room may have been the academic work attempt.
- Not sleeping well (and realise that won’t be helping).
- Stuck with the inositol, because these things often take time, but clearly it isn’t just fixing my mood.
- Finally got myself some magnesium glycinate for sleep for its calming effect.
- Tidied my bedside light terrarium and moved a couple of things from there to another when I found the new light I bought fitted without any alterations.
- Birds of the week: ravens back in the tree (pictured below).
