Weeknotes 30 March - 5 April 2026

Started slow, but ended stronger…

…getting stuff done (small steps) and cooking good food.

Cover image: Golf at HillView (Classic and Lakeside) on holiday Monday (ie the day after this weeknote ends) where I played amazing for 9 and then ok for 9 (but the second 9 was new to me), more on that next week.

  • Felt weak at Physio and a bit nauseous afterwards (humidity wasn’t helping). Did a proper weights session at home later in the week (and it made me sore in the right places, so I need to get back with the programme).
  • Binaural beats meditations continue every day. Have only struggled once to get one done at all.
  • Played a good practice nine and a great scrambled round of competition golf (did not drive the ball well at all).
  • Golf practice wasn’t as positive. Grip was better positioned, but sore hands later in the day suggests I was holding on too tight. Probably explains why there were issues with strike and direction on the range. Putting practice lifting the club before taking the stroke continues to work well to develop a better setup and rhythm.
  • Went to the accountant => tax done and questions for next year answered.
  • Shopped for favourite foods and cooked them for Easter (so did not peak too soon).
  • Planning for Tasmania.
  • Sorting out car things so I’m ready to pick up Snowball on my return, ie roof bar removal, aerial, blank for lighter socket.
  • Have reached a level of clutter that feeds my fear of losing important items and makes it difficult to do some of the things I want to do (eg sewing).
    • Beginning to sort out storage cupboards, throwing out some of the stuff that needs to go.
    • Need to continue this when we get back.
    • There is so much that needs to go to recycling… rather than just be collected ready for recycling.

Recording small wins in daily lists and notes helps me to see that I am getting things done (albeit very slowly).
