Flexi-christmas for the win…

…because no-one wants to cook on the second of two 40 degree days.

  • Cover image: Frangipani season! The huge plant which provided cuttings…
  • Planted the frangipani cuttings into pots and garden, lost a few in the heat.
  • Offered a frangipani to my physio (assuming I keep at least one pot alive).
  • Sorted food for the week (eventually) and then flexibly changed what we ate and when given the weather.
  • Ate a lot of prawns… and a lot of fruit.
  • Delayed duck was good with duck fat roast potatoes and raddicchio and orange salad.
  • Supermarket meringue was disappointing… as I suppose I knew it would be => must make italian meringue at some point (but not until I get over the current sugar rush).
  • At least I got an (almost decent) pavlova for christmas.
  • Putting practice has not paid off!! Need to spend more time on actual grass.
  • Played one decent round of golf (bailed on the other, too hot).
  • Warmed mince pies and ice cream are good (left wanting more so bought some more).
  • Made and partially tested 2026 golf practice plan… changes in progress for some areas.
  • Continued to set up Bullet Journal structure and ideas for 2026.
