Some more bits and pieces of life, which is pretty slow atm…
…in part because it suddenly got hot. Luckily golf was on cooler days, but that meant it clashed with times I might have attempted to wing-SUP.
- Cover image: isn’t attractive, but it’s not something you see that often. Birdied a hole I’m not supposed to (ie where I get two shots) for five stableford points.
- Started a Tiny Experiment: TE Putting, where I try to get a better feel for the putter, my putting action, strike, weight and line with 10 minute practice sessions for 10 days at home (on non-competition days).
- Went to the dentist, admitted my fear and recent issue with the ultrasonic cleaner, was met with kindness and understanding. Got my teeth descaled the old fashioned way (they were pretty clean anyway) and had a completely pain free dental visit for the first time in ages. Win!
- Had a couple of good days at golf. Won the competition on Friday (and that wasn’t the day I birdied the 6th).
- Rather than over-analysing golf I’m just nominating 5 best shots to remember after each competition.
- I missed a great wing-SUP day for golf on Wednesday, but committed to going on Thursday. Unfortunately the wind came in too fast.
- Keeping up with weights and meditation (not at the same time).
- We’re at that point in the summer where we avoid using the air conditioner other then evening/night… maybe in a bloody-minded attempt to acclimatise to the heat?
- It is so hot (and humid) rn. Today I’m reluctant to swim with the potential for spot lightning stikes all around, but a quick dip or two will definitely be necessary.
- Little tiny bird visits our garden to have a bath most days in the late afternoon.
